The post-traumatic counselling service is offered free under the Posaction® Plus program, and helps managers effectively manage employee reactions to traumatic events such as armed robbery, suicide, homicide, death threats, major occupational injuries, serious altercations, etc. When the manager calls, the counsellor assesses the situation and the potential reactions to determine the type of intervention required – on-site debriefing by a psychologist, telephone coaching or one-on-one meetings.
